This posting will be used to fill 1 permanent position working 75 hours bi-weekly. Preference will be given to bilingual (French) candidates for the permanent position. This competition will establish a 12-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions that may or may not be preferential to bilingual candidates. The competition is open to bilingual (French) and anglophone candidates.

Reporting to the various Clinic Managers of the Integrated Health Services Branch, this position provides program, administrative, and reception services to ensure effective and efficient support to services, activities, staff, and clients of the Yukon Midwifery Clinic (YMC), Centre de santé Constellation Health Centre (CSCHC), Chronic Conditions Support Program (CCSP), and Whitehorse Walk-In Clinic (WWIC), including both medical office reception and assistant services. The primary responsibility is providing support to the clinic health professionals and the clinic clients/patients while maintaining the legal and ethical boundaries of client confidentiality.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have experience providing support to clinic health professionals and clients/patients, while contributing to an environment that is inclusive, non-discriminatory, and physically, psychologically, and culturally safe.
