About The Job
The Royal Inland Hospital Laboratory is the second largest tertiary referral site in the interior region, operating 24/7. The lab comprises generalist and specialist team members working collaboratively across disciplines such as Accession, Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology, Histology, Anatomic Pathology, and Molecular diagnostics. Typical duties include performing routine and complex tests using manual procedures and automated instruments, collecting and receiving specimens, entering data into the LIS, validating and reporting test results, maintaining instruments, and preparing solutions and control agents.
This is a Relief Full Time (1.00 FTE) position until the return of the incumbent.
