Job summary

Northern Health is seeking a registered Medical Laboratory Technologist to contribute to our Laboratory department in Canada. The incumbent will prepare specimens for routine analyses and perform hematological, microbiological, biochemical, and immunohematological testing in accordance with departmental procedures.

Under the general supervision of the Chief Medical Technologist or designate, this role emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and quality control within rotating day/evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens for routine analysis.
• Perform hematological, microbiological, biochemical and immunohematological testing according to departmental procedures.
• Operate within quality control and safety standards as outlined by the department.
• Work under the supervision of the Chief Medical Technologist or designate.
