Northern Health is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Assistant in Prince George to support the Laboratory department. Under general supervision, you will perform specimen collection, preparation and testing, and provide related clerical and laboratory support.

You may conduct inpatient and outpatient ECG testing and Holter monitor testing, explain test procedures, and perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.

Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed Medical Laboratory Assistant to support the Laboratory department. In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Laboratory Assistant performs specimen collection, preparation and testing, and performs related clerical and other laboratory support functions. Performs inpatient and/or outpatient Electro Cardiogram (ECG) testing, and/or Holter monitor testing as required, and explains test procedures. Performs routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.
