Interior Health is recruiting a Medical Laboratory Assistant for Kelowna General Hospital in Kelowna, BC. This permanent full-time role supports the Medical Laboratory Department with patient specimen collection, preparation, routine testing, LIS data entry, and related clerical tasks.

Medical Laboratory Assistant

Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our Medical Laboratory Department at Kelowna General Hospital in Kelowna, BC. About The Job

Medical Laboratory Assistants perform a variety of duties such as taking blood and specimen samples from patients, preparing blood and other specimens for analysis, performing routine laboratory tests, distributing specimens to departments and outside Laboratories, operating related equipment, entering data into the Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and performing related clerical duties and ECG testing as required.

This is a Permanent Full Time (1.0) opportunity.

Shifts of work will be scheduled day and evening shifts.
