Job summary

LifeLabs in Ontario is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to conduct diagnostic testing and reporting, contributing to patient well-being through accurate results. This temporary full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week and a day shift (6:30 AM–2:30 PM).

You will prepare and process samples, ensure proper labeling, release results with confidentiality, and help drive quality improvements. Requirements include a college diploma or university degree in Medical Laboratory Science and CMLTO

Job description

OurMedical Lab Technologists provide accurate and timely interpretive and diagnostic specimen testing and reporting. Through accuracy, quality, efficiency and expediting test results, you will contribute to patient well-being and the achievement of better health outcomes. LifeLabs facilities are also known as teaching laboratories and offer opportunities to share knowledge in a collaborative environment. You will have 24-hour medical support through our Medical Science team and Medical Library, and the ability to teach our college and university student placements.

Status: Temporary Full Time (37.5 hours per week) End Date: 1 year upon the start date

Shift: Day Shift; 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing.
• Prepare and process samples, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
