Job summary

The Toronto Cardiac Clinic in Toronto, ON is seeking a patient-focused Phlebotomy Technician to join our in-person team. The role involves drawing blood, preparing specimens and coordinating with cardiology staff.

You will set up IVs, perform ECGs, and assist with Holter and BP monitoring. On-site work at 829 St. Clair Ave. West offers a collaborative environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Blood collection and venipuncture procedures.
• ECG setup and interpretation assistance.
• Holter monitoring setup and BP monitor hookup.
• Bloodwork collection and specimen handling.

Responsibilities

• Set up patient IVs for ultrasound and Nuclear patients.
• Conduct patient ECGs.
• Hook up Holters and Blood pressure monitors.
• Perform patient bloodwork.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for setting up patient I.V’s for ultrasound and Nuclear patients
• Responsible for conducting patient ECG’s
• Responsible to hook up Holters and Blood pressure machines
• Conducting patients bloodwork

• Weekends as needed

• Toronto, ON M6C 1C2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience

• Phlebotomy: 1 year (preferred)
• ECG: 1 year (preferred)
• I.V: 1 year (required)
• Holter/Blood pressure monitor: 1 year (preferred)
