Job summary

Trudell Medical International is seeking an experienced engineer to design mechanical and electromechanical medical devices in London, Ontario. You will act as the Design Responsible Engineer, manage design controls, and mentor junior engineers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective products.

You will develop full project plans, participate in IP disclosures, and drive design to manufacturing with attention to safety, quality, and regulatory clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic or Biomedical).
• 5–10 years of product development and design experience.
• Medical device industry experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical/electromechanical solutions for device development.
• Act as Design Responsible Engineer (DRE) and maintain design controls.
• Develop invention disclosures and project plans with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and safety policies.
