Job summary

FYidoctors - Edmonton - Brewery District clinic is seeking a Medical Associate to bring exceptional skills and experience to our team, filling an existing vacancy. The role focuses on delivering outstanding patient service and supporting eye care in a collaborative clinic environment.

You will assist with check-in/out, pre-testing, appointment coordination, eyewear handling, and billing tasks while contributing to a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is considered an asset.
• Able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with technology and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for patient experiences.

Responsibilities

Our FYidoctors - Edmonton - Brewery District clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as aMedical Associateto fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you'll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a full-time role working 30-40 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Saturday.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience

What You Bring

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences
