FYidoctors Edmonton - Hawkstone Plaza clinic is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to join our team in a part-time role. You will deliver exceptional service, support patients, and help manage day-to-day front desk activities in a busy optometry setting.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients, scheduling, billing, and assisting with minor eyewear adjustments, with a focus on accurate, friendly patient experiences. Part-time hours typically 20–29 per week.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience is an asset.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients.

Our FYidoctors Edmonton - Hawkstone Plaza clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a part-time role working 20-29hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
