Job summary

FYidoctors Edmonton – Brewery District is seeking a Medical Associate to join our team and deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinic. This full-time role offers 30-40 hours per week across Monday to Saturday, with opportunities for growth and development.

You will greet patients, assist with pre-testing, coordinate appointments, and support billing and eyewear services while providing outstanding service in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is an asset.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and computers (MS Office).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for patient service.

Responsibilities

Our FYidoctors - Edmonton - Brewery District clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Medical Associate to fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you will deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a full-time role working 30-40 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Saturday.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required

What You Bring

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences
