Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the Medical Aesthetic Nurse plays a key role in SABBYA’s activities. This function is crucial to ensuring the credibility of the center and customer satisfaction by understanding their needs and proposing the best solutions. This person will meticulously inform patients about the different aesthetic options available to achieve the desired result and provide them with relevant information about the procedure.
Profil sought
- Registered nurse in Quebec with an active license / certificate.
- Up-to-date training and certifications required.
- Availability required on weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Thorough understanding of drugs and substances used in medical aesthetics, as well as aesthetic services, treatments and technologies.
- Knowledge of physiology and anatomy, particularly of the skin and subcutaneous tissues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of medical aesthetic equipment and technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills.
- Proven experience in sales of aesthetic products, lasers and skin care.
- Strong time management skills, flexibility and ability to multi-task.
- Computer skills and ability to learn technology quickly.
- Engaging personality and positive attitude.
- Ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential information.

Know-how
- Perform comprehensive consultations and skin assessments with potential patients.
- Receive and assess patients prior to providing services.
- Report patients’ medical history and treatment plan to the Medical Director in order to obtain the required prescription(s).
- Inform patients about treatments and procedures, including pre- and post-care instructions.
- Maintain comprehensive sales skills to recommend injectables, skin care, laser treatments and more.
- Take standardized before and after photos with all patients (if applicable).
- Diligently maintain patient records and perform administrative work associated with patient care.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize medical instruments and tools.
- Participate in periodic inventory checks of emergency and medical supplies, medications and expiration dates, etc.
- Maintain / comply with all regulations concerning health and safety protocols.
- Develop and propose ideas to increase brand awareness and improve the patient experience within the clinic.
- Keep abreast of procedures, protocols, laws, regulations and training.

- Skin treatments, including :
- Advanced facial
- Photo facial
- Chemical peels
- Light therapy
- Non-surgical body contouring
- Laser and light treatments
