Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

The role requires lifting up to 49 lbs, standing for long shifts, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 2+ years experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 1+ year reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging/distribution equipment.
• Mentor junior technicians.
• Promote a safe working environment.
• Travel up to 20%.
• Document preventive maintenance.
