Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team at the Pitt Meadows site. You will repair, maintain, install and support automated packaging and distribution equipment, while mentoring junior technicians and growing your skills.

You will follow safety procedures, perform scheduled maintenance with documentation, troubleshoot MHE systems, and help keep inventory organized in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights and/or holidays
• 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays
• Maintain a positive working relationship across the Operations facility
• Track and store department inventory
