Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Mechatronics Design Release Engineer to support Steering Wheel Switch (SWS) components with a strong focus on vehicle issue resolution and root-cause analysis. This role requires eligibility for a TN visa as it is located in Auburn Hills, MI.

You will review, analyze, and release engineering changes, coordinating corrective actions with suppliers and engineering teams, and provide hands-on support during vehicle builds and launches at U.S. manufacturing plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering.
• 3-5 years automotive engineering experience, preferably in Design Release, Product Development, Quality, or Validation.
• Experience with mechatronic/electromechanical automotive components.
• Willingness to provide hands-on support at U.S. manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, validation, and release of Steering Wheel Switch (SWS) components.
• Review returned parts at QEC and investigate vehicle-level issues to determine root causes.
• Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and engineering teams.
• Implement and validate corrective actions at local U.S. manufacturing plants.
• Provide hands-on support during vehicle builds, plant issues, and product launches.
• Manage engineering changes and support component validation and release activities.
• Collaborate with Design, Electrical, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supplier Engineering teams.
