Job summary
Lakeside Process Controls Ltd. is seeking a Technician, Mechanical Services to perform instrument and valve repair in industrial facilities, with shop and site troubleshooting of flow control equipment.
The role involves assembling, testing, and maintaining valve automation products while liaising with customers on standards and safety features. The ideal candidate holds a Millwright/Instrumentation certificate or related college diploma, with ISO 9001:2008 experience and strong hands-on skills
Qualifications
- Experience with valves, instrumentation, milling and assembly.
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2008 environments.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specs.
Responsibilities
- Instrument and valve repair in industrial facilities.
- Shop and site troubleshooting of flow control equipment.
- Final assembly and testing of valve and valve automation products.
- Respond to valve emergencies during and after hours.
- Advising clients regarding standards, safety features and maintenance.
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers.
