Job summary

Kinectrics Inc. seeks a Mechanical Technologist for our Inspection and Maintenance Systems team in Toronto, ON. This permanent, intermediate position offers a 40‑hour work week at 800 Kipling Avenue, reporting to the Team Lead, Technologists/Machinist.

You will perform mechanical fabrication, assembly, testing, and QA documentation, with potential site travel within Canada and abroad. Ideal candidates have 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical fabrication, assembly, testing and

Qualifications

• 8 years related experience or equivalent advanced education in mechanical engineering technology or similar field.
• 8–10 years hands-on experience with mechanical fabrication, assembly, testing and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical fabrication, assembly and testing on large and small equipment.
• Support basic electrical assembly, testing and measurement activities.
• Troubleshoot complex electro‑mechanical systems and analyze test results.
• Prepare QA documentation, inspection records and test reports.
• Travel to and work at customer sites in Canada and occasionally internationally.
