Job summary

ENTEGRA Solutions is seeking a hands-on technician to build and assemble machines at our Woodbridge, ON location. You will conduct repairs, troubleshoot issues, and perform thorough maintenance to ensure maximum reliability of equipment.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety rules, following established procedures, and active participation in continuous improvement initiatives within the ENG department. Regular full-time, on-site, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; vocational certification or apprenticeship a plus.
• Ability to follow procedures, read instructions/blueprints.
• Good communication and physical strength.
• Experience with hand and power tools; safe work practices.
• Perform tasks with limited supervision.

Description

Position Summary:

• Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
• Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Perform thorough maintenance of equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with department processes, procedures, and practices to ensure the most accurate product delivery.
• Operational Excellence: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, consistently working towards the achievement of individual and team goals.
• Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Understanding of machinery operation
• Aptitude in using various hand tools & power tools (torque wrenches, drills etc.)
• Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc.
• Very good communication skills
• Good physical strength
• High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or participation in apprenticeship is a definite plus
• Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner with limited supervision
• Always follow all safety rules, standards and procedures
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
