Job summary

ENTEGRA® is seeking a hands-on technician to build and assemble machines and mechanical components at our Woodbridge, ON facility. You will perform repairs to maximize reliability, troubleshoot issues, and conduct thorough maintenance of equipment to support continuous operations.

Qualified candidates will have a strong understanding of machinery operation, experience with hand and power tools, and the ability to read blueprints and procedures.

Qualifications

• Understanding of machinery operation.
• Aptitude in using various hand tools & power tools (torque wrenches, drills).
• Ability to follow established procedures and read instruction/blueprints.
• Very good communication skills and physical strength.
• High school diploma preferred; vocational certification or apprenticeship a plus.

Position Summary

• Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
• Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Perform thorough maintenance of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with department processes, procedures, and practices to ensure the most accurate product delivery.
• Operational Excellence: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, consistently working towards the achievement of individual and team goals.
• Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Understanding of machinery operation
• Aptitude in using various hand tools & power tools (torque wrenches, drills etc.)
• Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc.
• Very good communication skills
• Good physical strength
• High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or participation in apprenticeship is a definite plus
• Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner with limited supervision
• Always follow all safety rules, standards and procedures
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
