Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Mechanical Technician or E&I Technician to safely operate and maintain compressor stations across the region. The role is based in Prince George, BC, with 40-hour weeks and on-call requirements.

Expect up to 75-100% travel and temporary full-time status under a collective agreement. The candidate must be a journeyperson in relevant trades, hold a valid driver's license, and be open to relocation as per policy.

• Journeyperson status for Electrician, Instrumentation, Millwright or Heavy Duty Mechanic.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced Mechanical Technician or E&I Technician looking for a new challenge? This position will be responsible for safely operate compressor stations ensuring safety and reliability. This is a maintenance and operations position based in Price George (BC).

What you will do

• Complete the Operator Qualifications Training program for each station within your region as required.
• Operate and maintain all facility equipment at station(s) throughout the region as required.
• Complete all required safety, operations, and maintenance training.
• Create/review procedures.
• Must be willing to work away from home if required and able to work On Call and Overtime.
• Work with support groups (Planner/Finance, etc).
• Be capable of working all Unifor 4960 shifts.

Who you are

Required

• Journeyperson Electrician or Instrumentation Technician or Journeyperson Millwright, Heavy Duty Mechanic.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred

• Dual Trade.
• Ability to multi-task and change duties quickly.
• Demonstrated self-starter.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to carry out daily duties with minimal supervision and support.
• Experience working in the oil & gas industry.
