A Trans Mountain Mechanical Maintenance (Millwright) Technician will support operations in a multi-skilled environment emphasizing safety, environmental stewardship, and pipeline integrity. Responsibilities include maintaining pipeline equipment, supporting remote operations, and emergency response.

The position follows an 8.58-hour shift Monday to Friday (days), with every 2nd Friday off, and is based at the Burnaby/Westridge Terminal, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain mechanical equipment including motors, pumps, valves, seals, samplers, mixers, relief valves, densitometers, flow meters, and loading arms.
  • Perform and document maintenance activities using asset management software.
  • Analyze SCADA, HMI, and P&ID data for safe operation.
  • Support emergency response and participate in exercises.
  • Assist with marine vessel operations and other technical teams.
  • Oversee contractors and monitor safety compliance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School diploma.
  • Journeyman Certificate (Red Seal Millwright or TQ endorsement).
  • 3-5 years of industrial experience.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills; welding and pipefitting are assets.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems, process control, hydro testing, commissioning, and start-up is beneficial.
  • Commitment to safety, on-call availability, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Team player with self-motivation, organizational skills, and excellent communication.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
