Job summary

Westinghouse is seeking an Engineering II – Mechanical Systems and Equipment in Kitchener, Ontario. The hybrid role involves supporting design, development, and analysis of mechanical systems for reactor applications, with hands-on exposure and a path to independence.

You will perform calculations, verify sizing, and collaborate with senior engineers while building technical depth, including travel as needed. The base salary range is CAD 77,600 to CAD 97,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of professional engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, implementation, and analysis of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Perform and verify thermal, thermal-hydraulic, and piping network design and analysis.
• Develop and verify equipment sizing calculations for blowers, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, HVAC systems.
