Job summary

Introba in Canada is seeking an Associate to form a viable part of the management team and to manage their Project Design Team, with accountability for staff and task distribution. You will provide technical support and ensure design decisions and team management accountability.

Introba specializes in net-zero thinking and sustainable solutions; this role emphasizes leadership, project delivery, and collaboration with clients and stakeholders to meet requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design.
• 5–10 years in mechanical site inspections and field reviews.
• Familiarity with BC Building Code and BC Building By-law.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff performance criteria and information on design staff.
• Meet regularly with all team members to identify issues and implement action plans.
• Provide workload forecasting for new projects and analyze progress of prospective projects.
• Update Introba accounting system information for Marketing Team use.
• Recommend distribution of new work based on staff availability.
• Represent Introba at meetings with project clients and stakeholders.
• Train staff in all phases of design to insure continuity.
• Utilize leadership to maximize productivity and satisfaction.
• Improve quality of services, products, and systems to meet client requirements.
