Job summary

Stantec seeks an Intermediate Mechanical/Piping Designer to join the Integrated Design team. The successful candidate will work on diverse projects in North America within the Energy and Resource sectors, focusing on growth and technical development.

Responsibilities include collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, designing piping and mechanical systems, and delivering high-quality contract drawings and isometrics. Field awareness and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial consulting or design.
• Proficiency with multiple design tools and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or coordinate contract drawings, sketches, and concept design through to construction.
• Collaborate with Mechanical group members, other disciplines, and clients to achieve project success.
• Carry out assignments on project design teams with minimal supervision.
• Communicate effectively with team members and project stakeholders.
• Provide technical mentoring and support to junior team members.
• Prepare drawings using AutoCAD, Plant3D, CadWorx, Inventor, SolidWorks, Revit, AvevaE3D, MicroStation.
