Job summary

Enbridge Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician or E&I Technician to safely operate compressor stations, ensuring safety and reliability. This maintenance and operations role is based in Prince George, BC, and requires rotating shifts and willingness to travel.

You will complete Operator Qualifications, operate and maintain facilities, and participate in safety and training programs, with 75-100% travel and potential on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Electrician or Instrumentation Technician or Journeyperson Millwright or Heavy Duty Mechanic as required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Operator Qualifications Training program for each station within your region as required.
• Operate and maintain all facility equipment at station(s) throughout the region as required.
• Complete all required safety, operations, and maintenance training.
• Create/review procedures.
• Must be willing to work away from home if required and able to work On Call and Overtime.
• Work with support groups (Planner/Finance, etc).
• Be capable of working all Unifor 4960 shifts.

Are you an experienced Mechanical Technician or E&I Technician looking for a new challenge? This position will be responsible for safely operate compressor stations ensuring safety and reliability. This is a maintenance and operations position based in Price George (BC).

What you will do

Who you are

You have the following qualifications and skills:

• Journeyperson Electrician or Instrumentation Technician or Journeyperson Millwright, Heavy Duty Mechanic.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred:

• Dual Trade.
• Ability to multi-task and change duties quickly.
• Demonstrated self-starter.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to carry out daily duties with minimal supervision and support.
• Experience working in the oil & gas industry.
