Job summary

VERACIO provides geological data, analysis and technology services to the global mining industry. The field technician role supports drill core scanning and analytical equipment in field and workshop settings, with travel to client sites as required.

Ideal candidates have drilling field experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to troubleshoot proprietary equipment while collaborating with internal teams. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are essential.

• Proficient in MS Office suite

• Basic electrical and mechanical skills desirable

Responsibilities

• Trouble shooting and fault finding of technical and practical use issues tied to proprietary analytical equipment
• Understanding how to operate and trouble shoot our field-deployable electronic equipment and supporting software
• Conduct field and workshop scanning activities
• Logistical support for field scanning operations
• Escalate and document incidents in line with company Issue Management System
• Escalates issue of moderate complexity to senior staff
• Travel regularly to fulfil the above responsibilities
• Comply with EHS Policy and KPIs

Additional Responsibilities

• Performs hands-on troubleshooting, service and repairs.
• Contribute to creations of SWP’s and training documentation
• Provide material support to Product Development teams through testing and reporting activities, and operational rollout.
• Training of client field technicians to safely and efficiently operate our field deployable analytical technologies
• Travel to field and other Veracio operational sites to perform duties where required.
• Comply with EHS Policy and KPIs.
