Black & McDonald’s Mechanical ICI team is growing! You are an independent, enthusiastic, and driven professional seeking a solid foundation for your career. The Project Manager is located on site and reports directly to the Division Manager.

Project Managers plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate assigned project(s) from start to finish and in accordance with schedule, specifications and budget. Duties include leadership for cost, schedule, quality, safety and contract performance.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of Project Management experience in Mechanical ICI Construction.
• Experience on transit projects including TTC/Metrolinx considered an asset.
• Strong leadership, cost control, scheduling, and safety focus.
• Ability to establish objectives, policies and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for assigned project in regards to cost, schedule, quality, safety, and contract performance.
• Plan, prepare, monitor, and manage construction schedule and milestones.
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with applicable standards – HSE regulations and contract requirements.
• Monitor and report progress, labour productivity, and forecast financials.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions and changes with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Review work/contracts/WIP for risk and correct deficiencies.
