Job summary

Michael Page International (Canada) seeks an Assistant Project Manager for Ottawa to support project delivery, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation across ICI projects. You will work with Project Managers, site staff, consultants, and clients to keep milestones aligned with budgets and quality standards.

Growth into a full Project Manager role is expected with strong performance. Experience with ICI projects and procurement processes is valued, along with proficiency in common PM software.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial, institutional, or industrial construction.
• Experience supporting construction management, general contracting, or design-build projects is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in all phases of project delivery, from pre-construction through closeout.
• Coordinate project activities between owners, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and change requests.
• Track project milestones and support schedule management activities.
