Qualifications

Job description

Position Summary

Tacten is seeking a Level 3 Rope Access Mechanical Foreman to support our client site in Fort McMurray, AB. As a Rope Access Foreman, you will be a key member of our team responsible for executing high-altitude tasks with precision, efficiency, and safety.

Position Information:

  • Start: ASAP
  • 14/14 rotation with 12 hour days
  • FIFO provided - preferance given to those in Alberta
Responsibilities
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of Technicians, Industrial Trades, Inspectors, and Engineers.
  • Respond on a daily basis to inquiries made by Client.
  • Provide technical guidance, direction, mentoring, training, and skills development to technicians reporting to you.
  • Review and approve time sheets and Field Level Risk Assessments, correct deficiencies and provide feedback to technicians.
  • Assist in the investigation and documentation of near misses, safety incidents, and non-conformances.
  • Participate in Internal and Client-led procedural and process safety and quality audits.
  • If required, provide services in situations where no other persons are available to perform the work.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years Industrial experience
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory or leadership experience
  • IRATA Level 3 Certified
  • Journeyman Trade ticket is an asset
  • Technical report writing skills
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under the pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
