Position Summary:

Reporting to the Manager, Construction, the Site Supervisor is responsible for completing work in the field while managing a crew of installation technicians for service and repair projects for our customers. As an on-site representative of BarW, this role is responsible for the execution of projects and service contracts by meeting or exceeding predetermined specifications for quality, timeliness, cost, customer satisfaction, and risk/loss parameters. This position plans and manages resources to produce effective financial results.

What you will be doing?
  • Manage and maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring job support is sufficient; installation crews are well instructed and trained; and customers are met with every day to sign for changes and get an update on what has been accomplished and plans for the day. Manage customer relationships to advance the organizational reputation and grow future business.
  • Responsible for data entry of project-related IFS requirements i.e. part needs, part usages, time entry.
  • Review installation estimates for manager and input to advancing profitable estimates and suitable job start-up information. Ensure jobs are completed as scheduled and comply with all required specifications. Convert all installation estimates into an hour allowed and phase scheduled job budget to guide installation crews. Perform any production duty necessary to train, supervise, and maintain daily production workflow.
  • Maintain equipment and supply inventories in a clean and orderly condition. Organize adequate tools, resources, and equipment necessary for efficient production. Recommend purchases of new equipment.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures. Make the Policies & Procedure Manual available to all Installation personnel. Provide expert project oversight to anticipate and mitigate risk resulting in superior EH&S performance.
  • Hire, and monitor job competencies of Installation personnel. Train and evaluate Installation personnel. Establish training processes and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure all Installation Team functions are adequately performed and backed up. Coordinate team activities with all other company branches. Work with the Project Coordinator to resolve conflicts between the Installation Team and other Teams or personnel.
  • Submit estimates of Installation Team expenses, based on the level of anticipated activity. Maintain Installation expenses within the approved Project and Profit Plan limits.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School diploma with a minimum of 7 years broad construction experience with working level knowledge of electrical, carpentry, mechanical, and welding trades.
  • Hold a valid Journeyperson Trade Certificate (Electrical, Carpentry, Welding, or other construction-related trade) and other industry-relative certificates.
  • Construction project management experience. Minimum 3 years’ experience leading and supervising multiple crews.
  • Valid Driver's License.
