HH Angus invites new mechanical engineering graduates to join the 2027 New Graduate Program. This permanent, full-time, rotational program offers mentorship and formal training across disciplines to accelerate growth in design, drafting, and project execution.

You’ll work on healthcare, commercial, data centers, and transportation projects, gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle from concept through commissioning within a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 4-year University Degree in Mechanical Engineering (graduating in 2027).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit is an asset.
• Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices and contribute innovative ideas.
• Strong accuracy, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepares drawings, designs, and calculations for low-complexity projects.
• Assesses design constructability, edits design specs with guidance from seniors.
• Delivers assigned tasks on time meeting project deadlines.
• Assists in developing standards and reports with guidance from seniors.
• Applies tools and methodologies used for product and service delivery (AutoCAD, drawing standards).
• Keeps timesheets, logs, and files accurate and up to date.
• Works under supervision of a more senior engineer to solve problems.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 4-year University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent program (graduating 2027).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit is an asset.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Prepares drawings, designs, and calculations for engineering projects and assignments of low complexity.
• Assesses design constructability and makes edits to existing design specifications with support and guidance from more senior engineers.
• Delivers all assigned tasks on a timely basis meeting project deadlines.
• Assist in developing standards and reports with support and guidance from more senior engineers.
• Effectively applies tools and methodologies used for product and service delivery (e.g., AutoCAD, HHA Drawing Standards, Plotters, etc.).
• Ensures timesheets, logs, and files are accurate and up to date.
• Works under the supervision of a more senior engineer in solving problems.
• Other duties as required.

The expected salary for this role is between $65,000 to $74,000 annually. Base salaries are determined considering several factors such as skills and competencies, experience, education, and internal and external competitiveness. Along with your base salary we offer a wide array of programs that include our Short Term Incentive bonus program, technical and business training, mentoring, wellness initiatives, the opportunity to participate in our coveted Defined Benefit Pension plan, flexible work arrangement, and hybrid work structure.
