Groupe Génitique is seeking a Mechanical Design Technician to join our team. The role focuses on interpreting client needs, designing deliverables, and selecting equipment within established technical standards.

Here Is The Profile We Are Looking For

• Holds a DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
• Haves 5 to 9 years of design experience in the mechanical field;
• Knowledge of SolidWorks/Revit software (an asset);
• Fluent in spoken and written French (fluency in English is an asset for collaborating with our clients outside Quebec);
• Demonstrates strong adaptability;
• Demonstrates positive leadership, autonomy, and a strong Teamwork skills; And above all, share our values: competence, autonomy, respect, and quality of life. A GLIMPSE OF WHAT AWAITS YOU: Receive, identify, and analyze client needs; Read, interpret, analyze, and understand the various technical clauses of plans and specifications; Participate in the design of various deliverables (technical concepts, plans, lists, datasheets, calculations, manuals, etc.), in accordance with client specifications and standards; Participate in the selection of equipment involved in the designs; Provide support technical expertise during equipment manufacturing;
