Job summary

Kingston Midstream is offering a 16-month co-op in Calgary to support the Engineering Services Team, assisting with hydraulics modelling, stress analyses, pump sizing and material selection. The student will lead or contribute to technical solutions for system operations and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include supporting design and installation of mechanical systems, preparing drawings, and coordinating with managers, engineers, and contractors while adhering to HSE policies.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program at a post-secondary institution.
• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders regularly.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and non-technical support to execute requests from management and stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Support design and installation of mechanical systems.
• Assist in safe and efficient operation and maintenance of Kingston Midstream facilities.
• Prepare mechanical drawings and review with stakeholders for conformance with standards and regulations.
• Plan work in accordance with health, safety and environmental policies and industry standards.
• Maintain sound relationships with personnel and contractors.
• Support continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
• Travel occasionally to southeast Saskatchewan for Kingston operations.
