Term: September 2025

Duration: 4 months with possibility of extension

Openings: 2 positions

Salary Range: $3,650 - $4,525 CAD per month

Meaningful work you will be a part of

You will engage in activities that develop practical and transferable skills such as:

• You will be involved in the design, construction, and commissioning of apparatus for manufacturing of the Globe hardware in order to increase manufacturing throughput and yield to meet the anticipated demand and cost targets.
• You will be exposed to the design process of a medical device from concept generation to design reviews, prototyping, verification of the design, and design transfer to production.

What you bring to the team

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:

• Have a strong background in engineering fundamentals.
• Have excellent knowledge of CAD, particularly SolidWorks.
• Have experience with mechanical design and hands-on mechanical ability.
• Have experience with machine-tool operation and CAM programming.
• Be highly proactive and able to execute tasks with minimal instruction and guidance.
• Be enthusiastic about finding innovative solutions to unforeseen challenges.
• Have a history of success working in a team setting.
• Have a strong grasp of mathematics and analysis tools.
