In this role, you will contribute to transportation building projects while working with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and delivering innovative mechanical solutions.

Your Impact
  • Contribute to the design and development of mechanical systems for transportation building projects
  • Develop plans, layouts, and preliminary cost estimates to support project delivery and client objectives
  • Design building systems including HVAC, hydronic heating and cooling, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems
  • Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, designers, and 3D modellers to deliver coordinated, permit‑ready, and tender‑ready designs
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality, timelines, and technical standards
  • Apply industry codes, standards, and best practices to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient engineering solutions
  • Support sustainable and innovative approaches that enhance building performance and environmental outcomes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with P.Eng. registration (PEO or eligible for registration in Canada)
  • 5+ years of experience designing mechanical systems for transportation building projects
  • Strong technical expertise in HVAC, hydronic systems, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems
  • Knowledge of codes and standards, including OBC, ASHRAE, ASPE, NFPA, SMACNA, CSA, and AREMA
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments with strong coordination skills

Compensation
  • BC, AB, SK, NWT & NT: $89,800 – $118,900
  • MB & ON: $81,900 – $112,800
  • Atlantic Provinces & QC: $81,100 – $107,700

The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The wage range provided may be subject to change for business purposes.
