  3. Perform thermal analysis using CFD and 1D simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, GT-SUITE, AMESim).
  4. Conduct system-level and component-level thermal modeling and performance prediction.
  5. Define test procedures and validation plans for thermal systems.
  6. Support prototype development and vehicle-level thermal testing.
  7. Analyze test data and correlate it with simulation results to improve design accuracy.
  8. Collaborate closely with battery, powertrain, and vehicle integration teams.
  9. Work with suppliers and manufacturing teams for component selection and validation.
  10. Coordinate with control and software teams to implement thermal control strategies.
  11. Support the development of thermal control algorithms for various driving and charging conditions.
What you must have:
  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
  • Knowledge of electric powertrain components and their thermal requirements.
  • Familiarity with automotive standards and validation procedures.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in battery thermal management and fast-charging thermal strategies.
  • Knowledge of EV regulatory compliance and safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, UN ECE R100).
  • Experience with thermal runaway prevention and mitigation techniques.
  • Exposure to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and thermal control algorithm development.
