Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with design, prototyping, testing and qualification is a plus.
  • Experience using SolidWorks and its add-ins; medical device knowledge preferred.
  • EIT status preferred or eligible to register.
  • Experience in a technical, team-focused workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Research design options and perform experiments to determine feasibility.
  • Develop and test new manufacturing processes.
  • Specify and manage tool development.
  • Create and release product requirements and design specifications.
  • Support production activities and resolve issues quickly.
  • Assist senior engineers in designing, prototyping, testing and qualification.
  • Ensure compliance with medical device standards.
