Job summary

Tetra Tech Canada Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer for our Kincardine, ON office. You will size equipment, prepare datasheets, and support process layout and commissioning with a focus on safety and quality.

You will interact with subcontractors, coordinate with teams, and contribute to procurement efforts. Ideal candidates hold a four‑year mechanical engineering degree and a P.Eng in Ontario, with 4+ years of relevant design consulting experience.

Qualifications

• Four‑year Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario.
• Willingness to relocate to the Kincardine area.
• Ability to obtain federal security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Specify and size equipment and ensure proper inter‑connections for process performance.
• Prepare datasheets and technical specifications for mechanical equipment.
• Support general arrangement of the process.
• Validate subcontractors’ documents and provide installation support.
• Assist with procurement activities and related deliverables.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and staff.
