Job summary

Stantec in Windsor, Ontario is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to design and deliver building systems for civic, industrial, healthcare, commercial and educational projects. You will mentor junior staff and coordinate with offices and disciplines, producing REVIT MEP and AutoCAD drawings and detailed calculations.

The role requires a P.Eng in Ontario, a minimum of 5 years of consulting engineering experience in the buildings sector, strong communication skills, and ability to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• P.Eng. registration in Ontario is required; license to practice in Quebec is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of consulting engineering experience in the buildings sector.

Responsibilities

• Design building mechanical systems (HVAC, Hydronics, Plumbing, Fuel, Controls, Fire Protection) per codes.
• Prepare detailed engineering design calculations.
• Produce contract drawings and schematics in REVIT MEP and AutoCAD.
• Write reports and provide engineering recommendations.
