Our engineering firm client in Richmond is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer - Building Services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical designs in AutoCAD from concept, tender, permit, and construction for residential buildings.
• Coordinate all construction documents including concrete deck planning, layout, and mechanical room layouts.
• Create as-built drawings.
• Manage site instructions.
• Review equipment shop drawings.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Experience in high-rise residential construction.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of Mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing system designs.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience with Revit 3D modeling is a plus.
