Job summary

OdinVision Inc. in Waterloo, ON is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design the mechanical structures and enclosures behind our industrial lighting and lens products, balancing thermal, optical, and manufacturability requirements.

You will design housings, perform thermal and structural analysis, create 3D models in SolidWorks, and work with partners on DFM and tolerancing, supporting prototyping, testing, and validation of new hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD tools.
• Experience with sheet metal, CNC machining, or precision optical/electronic enclosures.
• Understanding of thermal management is a plus.

• Design mechanical housings, mounts, and enclosures for machine vision hardware.
