Job description

Liburdi Dimetrics Corporation is a leader in design and manufacturing of specialized welding equipment. Our systems are used in many industries including nuclear, power generation, petro-chemical and medical. Liburdi combines expertise in control technology, machine design and welding processes to develop unique solutions to challenging applications presented by these industries.

We are currently seeking a candidate who is qualified for the role of Mechanical Engineering . The role of Mechanical Engineering reports to the Mechanical Engineering Manager. Liburdi Dimetrics Corporation offers competitive wages. The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm.

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to) :

• Development of machine design from concept to detail.
• Review of the design interaction with other machines and tools in a complex system.
• Review of design compliance to technical specifications and requirements.
• Development of technical documents such as drawings, test procedures and manuals.
• Testing of machine performance and functionality.
• Interaction with the customer, internal team and vendors to ensure schedule compliance.

Key Experience / Education :

• 2-3 years of relevant machine design experience is preferred
• Knowledge of CSA N299 quality assurance program an asset
