Job Requirements

Work Arrangement: 100% on-site

Project Context

The Mechanical Designer will support a project focused on digitizing a backlog of physical parts, primarily injection-moulded plastic components (e.g., chair parts). The role involves scanning existing parts, converting scan data into accurate 3D CAD models, and collaborating with senior designers to validate deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Scan physical parts (primarily injection-moulded plastic components) using 3D scanning tools.
• Convert scan data into usable 3D CAD models.
• Recreate and update non-digitized drawings and part definitions.

Final compensation will be determined after considering several factors, including professional experience, skill set, educational background, certifications, and geographic market conditions. The current target salary range for this role is $58,000 – $88,000 per year.
