Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join a top automation client on a 12 month contract in Cambridge, ON. You will oversee the mechanical design of nuclear tooling and equipment, ensuring compliance with functional and performance requirements and applicable codes and standards.

Responsibilities include participating in design activities and reviews, performing calculations and simulations to verify requirements, and taking engineering responsibility for the design as defined by

Qualificações

• Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical design/engineering.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and able to perform analyses within SolidWorks.
• Experience with electromechanical sizing and engineering calculations related to loading.
• Automation background.
• Thorough knowledge of drafting principles.
• P.Eng certification (professional engineer).

Employment: 12-Month Contract + Extension/Conversion

Location: Cambridge, ON - 5x Per Week

Pay: $44-$48

Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical Designer to join a top automation client on a 12 month contract. You will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical design of nuclear tooling and equipment, and taking overall design responsibility for compliance with functional and performance requirements as well as industry/regulatory/safety codes and standards. You will participate in design activities, design reviews, perform calculations/analysis/simulations to verify requirements, and take engineering responsibility for the design as defined by PEO guidelines.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical design/engineering.

Proficient in SolidWorks Strong ability to do analysis within SolidWorks

Experience with electromechanical sizing and engineering calculations related to loading, etc.

Automation background

Thorough knowledge of drafting principles.

P.Eng

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience in nuclear industry, working in compliance with CSA N299, N286, or N285 standards.
