Westinghouse Electric Company in Canada is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer I to design mechanical systems and components for traditional nuclear markets and new nuclear projects. You will develop 3D models, create manufacturing drawings, and support testing from prototype to production.
You will report to the Robotic Tooling Design Manager and be based in Burlington, Kitchener, or Peterborough in Ontario.

As a Mechanical Design Engineering I you will be responsible, for designing mechanical systems and components both in the traditional nuclear market and in new projects to develop nuclear technology and future nuclear-powered systems.
You will report to the Robotic Tooling Design Manager and be located at our Burlington OR Kitchener OR Peterborough, Ontario office. This is a hybrid role. We expect employees working in hybrid roles to work onsite 2 days per week.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $62,400 to $78,000 per year.
