Job summary

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering and P.Eng. or eligible.
• Experience leading mechanical design from concept to commissioning.
• SolidWorks proficiency with routing and BOM creation.
• Ability to size pipes and vessels, and perform FEA or hand calculations.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design scope for AIS projects from concept through commissioning.
• Create 3D CAD models, pipe routing, and manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks.
• Size piping and vessels, and perform structural analyses and pressure-vessel checks.
• Engage vendors, request quotes, audit capability, and witness FATs.
• Travel within Canada and the United States to support field activities and commissioning.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve design standards and tools.
