Job summary

Altus Group is seeking an estimator in Toronto to handle cost analysis and project management duties. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields and have 2–3 years of relevant experience.

You will calculate measurements from design documentation, prepare cost estimates, and review change order pricing. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and cost estimating software.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of estimating/cost consulting experience required.
• Strong knowledge of RICS Project Monitoring guidelines and provincial lien acts.
• Working towards PQS, MRICS and/or Cost Engineers designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calculate quantities and measurements from design documentation.
• Prepare cost estimates based on narratives and designs.
• Review pricing for change orders for accuracy.
