Job summary

Eaton’s Milton Plant is seeking a Mechanical Assembler on the day shift to assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts using hand and power tools across our product lines.

You will read drawings, verify BOM accuracy, conduct visual inspections, perform testing and pack/ship duties, while maintaining Kanban and quality standards.

Qualifications include 1 year in manufacturing or 6 months assembly, a high school diploma, and residence within 80 km of Milton, ON.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year manufacturing experience or 6 months assembly experience.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics.
• Must reside within 80 KM of Milton, ON.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components ensuring proper torque on bus and phase connectors.
• Read and interpret drawings; ensure BOM accuracy.
• Inspect parts and resolve discrepancies with supervisor.
• Perform testing, adjustments, and quality inspections.
• Pack, ship duties, and operate fixtures/tools.
• Maintain Kanban process accuracy.
