Job summary

CoolIT Systems Inc. in Calgary, Alberta, seeks temporary Mechanical Assemblers to join our manufacturing team and start as soon as possible. You will perform subassembly and final assembly of electro-mechanical products, including thermal transfer hardware, and assemble prototypes and production loops.

Two shifts are available: Day and Evening. You will follow SOPs/WIs, support lean manufacturing, 5S+, and Lean initiatives to improve safety, quality and delivery while maintaining high accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg occasionally and up to 10 kg frequently.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Subassembly and final assembly of electro-mechanical products.
• Assemble Cold plate Loops, Manifold, Tube Assemblies and Heat Exchanger Modules.
• Assemble hardware components using hand, pneumatic, and electric power tools and fixtures.
• Follow SOPs and Work Instructions (WIs).
• Provide input to improve safety, quality, productivity and efficiency; reduce OFE.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering to develop visual work instructions and fixtures.
• Participate in Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve production rates.
• Meet production deadlines and Key Performance Indicators.
