Job summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a capable assembler with strong electrical and mechanical skills to join our production team in Hamilton, Ontario. You will assemble and wire electrical panels, route harnesses, and ensure assemblies meet customer specifications and safety requirements.

Requirements include a high school diploma, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, good problem solving and communication skills, experience with power hand tools, and reading a tape measure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
• Possess problem solving skills, communication skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret specifications.
• Welding experience is an asset; forklift and crane experience are assets.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Production Supervisor regarding all electrical/mechanical assembly.
• Assemble and wire small to large electrical panels.
• Route wiring harnesses through structures and sub-assemblies.
• Electrically wire transfer and conveyor systems.
• Mechanically assemble large assemblies and conveyor systems.
• Mechanical assembly of smaller sub-components.
• Ensure that all assemblies meet customer requirements and system specifications.
• Work independently and in team environments in achieving tasks.
• Adhere to and follow all safety regulations, policies and codes.

• Welding experience is a key asset
• Forklift and crane experience an asset

Salary Range-$39,917.00-$59,875.00
